GOLD STANDARD TRAINING
Germany won team gold and individual gold and silver medals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and went on to record wonderful results at the European championships 2021.

You can imagine how joyful we are here at Abbendorf to see such recognition for our German athletes. We are also very proud of Jonny’s contribution as team trainer and home trainer for Jessica Von Bredow-Werndl whom he visits frequently.

Just a few weeks after the Olympics, the German team headed to Hagen for the European Championships and more stunning performances.
The German team, comprising Jessica and TSF Dalera, Isabelle Werth and Weihegold OLD, Dorothee Schneider and Faustus and Helen Langehanenberg and Annabelle, successfully fought off the challenge from Great Britain and Denmark to win gold.
Jessica and TSF Dalera claimed three gold medals – team, Special and Freestyle. The pair achieved scores of over 84% in the team and Special tests and went on to achieve a personal best of 91.02% in the Freestyle.

In September 2021 Jessica achieved the no I position in the World Dressage Rankings – a testament to her hard work, dedication to correct training and the harmonious partnerships she builds with her horses. Jessica has paid tribute to the training partnership she has with Jonny.
“Jonny has been by my side as a trainer since 2010. He is not only an incredibly great horseman, he is also a real friend. Jonny stands behind me and has my back in good times and bad. One of the most important things he said, right at the beginning of our time together, was “We have to make Unee proud, that he feels that he is something special to you.”

Thank you for the wonderful time. I’m looking forward to everything that is to come, dear Jonny! When hard work and dedication to correct training combine with talent – this is the result!”
